Cancelled – FES Community Connections Project Presentations

The Francestown Elementary School successfully launched the Community Connections Project in January 2020. Students were split into groups of 6 to 8. They will be performing collaborative project-based learning experiences to answer real-world questions facing many of our community organizations. The groups were introduced to their community experts and to the topic they will be investigating over the next 16 weeks.  All students will get the opportunity to go off school for site visits throughout the rest of the year.…

Jacob MacKay, Cello

Francestown Fire Department

.   The Francestown Volunteer Fire Department will visit the Old Meeting House with one of their fire trucks.  This will be an informative and fun event.  Chief Larry Kullgren will tell us about fire safety, permits, and how to become a member of this amazing organization. These are local heroes, answering the call when we need medical emergency care or when there is a fire.  Another free event, donations to the Fire Department are welcome.
