Community Events

Located in the center of Francestown, the Old Meeting House has long played an essential role in our village and the larger community. Throughout the centuries, this historic building has hosted town meetings and political debates, concerts and recitals, church services, weddings, and memorials, while welcoming trick-or-treaters and carolers over the holidays.

From May through October, the Old Meeting House opens its doors to a wealth of community events. Every Labor Day during Francestown’s biggest celebration, volunteers serve up ice cream sundaes along with a little history. Visitors rest on our granite steps to watch the parade, enjoy a music performance inside, or join our free tour, climbing the steps to the bell tower for a bird’s eye view of our New Hampshire Historic Landmark Village.

Keep an eye on our calendar to stay on top of all the concerts, meetings, and events at the Old Meeting House!

Fees for use of the Old Meeting House are very reasonable—and may even be free to community groups. Please contact a Board Member for more information
