It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Join us on Sunday, December 11 when the Renaissance Men, a professional vocal ensemble, and our local ConVal Select Choir will come together to deck the halls of your hearts with holiday cheer.

Comprised of active chamber musicians, educators, and music aficionados from Boston and New York, the Renaissance Men have paved their way into New England’s cultural landscape. Created in 2014 to advance and invigorate the art of chamber music for voices across genres and generations, the ensemble continues to entertain audiences with multi-talented performers and diverse musical choices. To herald this holiday season, the Renaissance Men quartet will regale us with a seasonal variety of light-hearted songs and modern sounds. The ConVal Select Choir consists of thirteen passionate music students who rehearse after school once a week. This honors choir is made up of auditioned students who perform a college preparatory choral repertoire that spans diverse time periods and styles. Students in this choir were awarded a gold medal at the Great East Festival this past spring. In addition to regular department concerts at ConVal, these singers advocate for music in our community by participating in live theatre performance, holiday caroling, All-State Choirs, other music festivals, and additional community performances. The singers will be accompanied by pianist Mary Ann Fleming, organist/choir director at the Union Congregational Church in Peterborough.
